Join Melusine’s residential holiday and enjoy a luxury food-filled week of cooking

Every day we will cook together and create delicious Mediterranean dishes using beautiful local, fresh, seasonal produce.

We will take a canal boat ride, visit local markets, meet with producers, visit olive groves and learn how olive oil is produced, spend an afternoon touring a vineyard with wine tasting. It really is the perfect week for foodies.

There will also be time to relax, enjoy the swimming pool, explore the local area, take a walk along the canal and head to the beach.

Each day will be a mixture of group cooking sessions, excursions, and leisure time.

In addition to cooking and eating lots of delicious plant-based Mediterranean food, over the course of the week, we will:

  • Visit a local olive oil producer, walk the olive groves, learn about oil production and enjoy a tasting brunch.

  • Visit a village market and buy fresh vegetables and locally made artisnal produce.

  • Visit an organic vineyard followed by a wine tasting session.

  • Enjoy meal at a restaurant in Minerve, a medieval hilltop village.

Length

The holiday is residential (accommodation included) and runs for 7 days, arriving Sunday, departing Saturday – with 5 full days of cooking and activities.

DIETARIES

The holiday is fully plant based and other dietaries, including gluten free, can be accommodated.

Cost

The cost of the holiday is £2000 per person for a private room. This cost includes a private en-suite double-room accommodation, all cookery sessions and food, as well as excursions and meals out.

If you have a family member or friend you would like to share an en-suite twin-room with, the price is £1700 per person.

Travel is not included in the price and participants need to make their own way to Le Somail – please see below for more details.

We suggest bringing a small amount of money for coffees, ice creams, shopping for souvenirs etc.

Guests are responsible for procuring travel insurance for the holiday and must ensure that this covers you in case you need to cancel last minute.

Guests are also responsible for ensuring correct visas are obtained and local laws are followed.
