CAVALO WITH SESAME SEEDS

Dietary: vegan

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp sunflower, sesame or rapeseed oil

  • 250g Cavalo Nero, destalked and roughly shredded

  • 2 tbsps sesame seeds

  • a little boiling water

Method:

  1. Heat the wok or large pan and add the oil.

  2. Add the cavalo nero and stir-fry until the cavolo nero has softened, after a couple of minutes add a little boiling water to the cavolo nero so that the cavolo nero steams as you stir-fry.

  3. After a couple of minutes the cavolo nero will change to an intense green colour.

  4. Now add the sesame seeds, quickly stir fry and serve at once.
